Not a Government Office or Records Custodian. Faribault Residents Directory is a private reference. We cannot obtain a record, certify a copy, confirm occupancy, or remove a person from a public database. Direct those requests to the office holding the record. Call 911 for an emergency. Anyone facing stalking or harassment should contact local police.
Finding the Right Record Office
These are the most direct routes for common Faribault records questions:
- Ownership or an address trail: use the Faribault street directory and then the Rice County Assessor or Recorder
- Older directory volumes and a household history: start with the Faribault city directory collections
- One name that needs confirming: use the Faribault resident lookup process
- Custodian contacts: see the Faribault records offices reference
- Records without an online index: make a targeted request under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, Minn. Stat. ch. 13, especially ยง13.03, to the custodian
